Gone are the days when living abroad was the sole means of mastering a language. Memrise leverages AI to bring immersive language learning experiences to your device, wherever you are in the world.

You can already pick from over 50,000 videos on Memrise to find content that aligns with your interests. Choose a video of a real life situation that you want to master, and Memrise will teach you exactly what you need to know. Create your own personalized, culturally infused language journey.

We are now opening this up further, allowing *you* to submit any video that you’d like to be able to understand, from anywhere on the internet. From music videos to sports commentary, TikTok snippets to cooking shows, pick anything that catches your interest, submit a YouTube or Tiktik link and we’ll create a bespoke language course that will teach you everything you need in order to understand it.

How It Works:

• Submit as many videos that you would want to understand in Spanish, French, German or Italian on YouTube or TikTok.
• Memrise will craft a personalised mini language courses based on the videos' content.
• You'll be contacted by Memrise when the mini language courses of the videos you submitted are live. 
• Share the links to these mini language courses! The more you share and get others learning them, the more chances you'll have of winning the grand prize.
• Memrise will keep track of how many people are learning each mini language course. At the end of the competition period, the mini language course with most people learning it, wins!

• 100 Memrise Pro Annual Subscriptions
• Grand Prize: $1,000 USD

To participate, follow these steps:

• Fill out this submission form with your full name, Memrise username or email.
• Submit as many video links as you  like. in any of the following languages: Spanish, French, German, and Italian.

Competition Period:

• Video Submissions: 15th August 2023, 00:00 - 31st August 2023, 23:59
• Judging Conclusion: 30th September 2023, 23:59
  
  

Eligibility: The competition is open to everyone over the age of 18 who are registered Memrise users.

Judging Criteria:

• Memrise will choose 100 entries at random. Selected entries will receive a 1-year Memrise Pro subscription.
• For the grand prize, Memrise will track the number of learners for each video lesson over 15 days.
• The video lesson with the most learners will win the grand prize.
• The winning participant will be notified by email.

Announcement Dates:

• Selected Videos Announcement: 5th September 2023 on Memrise blog and social media.
• Grand Prize Winner: 1st October 2023.
